Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates III is still without a new contract. As the July 15 deadline for tagged players to agree to long-term deals approaches, Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that negotiations "remain at a standstill." The 25-year-old also hasn't signed his nearly $13 million franchise tag, so there's a chance he may not be on the field in 2022-23. Throughout his career, Bates has been responsible for 408 tackles, 35 pass deflections, and 10 interceptions. Fantasy managers have high expectations for him heading into the season, believing he may be in store for his best year yet. However, until he returns, he has no value in IDP formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBallerRead More News
