Ja Morant Expected To Sign Max Deal This Summer
Ja Morant is expected to sign a max contract offer this summer, with the 22-year-old in line to potentially make up to $223 million over the life of the agreement. Morant is coming off a fantastic season, where he averaged a career-high 27.4 points along with 6.7 assists, 5.7 boards, and 1.2 steals. Morant has proven to be one of the most capable offensive threats in the league and was even in the MVP conversation throughout the year. As a result, he should be taken early during drafts moving toward October. However, his subpar percentages from deep may negatively impact his stock in category leagues, and his inability to remain healthy could burden anyone who acquires his services.
