Andrew Heaney Making Rehab Start Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) is making another minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday. Heaney is expected to need one more rehab start after Thursday before he's ready to rejoin the Dodgers starting rotation. The 31-year-old left-hander allowed one earned run while walking none and striking out five over three innings in his first rehab start last weekend. Heaney had made only two starts for the Dodgers before getting injured, but he hadn't allowed a run while walking three and fanning 16 in 10 1/3 frames. Fantasy managers can only hope he'll be half as good when he makes his return from the injured list, but you should make sure his previous owner didn't drop him.
