Breshad Perriman Returning To Buccaneers
Breshad Perriman is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on an undisclosed one-year deal, according to his agents. The Buccaneers have been able to easily re-sign a lot of their own once quarterback Tom Brady announced he was coming back after a short retirement. Perriman missed the team's playoff loss with an abdomen injury, but he should be fine for the upcoming season and will serve as valuable receiver depth in 2022 with Chris Godwin (knee) recovering from a torn ACL. The 28-year-old had 11 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets. The addition of former Atlanta Falcons wideout Russell Gage likely means that Perriman will be battling for No. 3 duties to begin the season.
