Tyreek Hill - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

RotoBaller's updated 2025 fantasy football draft rankings for August. Use our top 415 fantasy football rankings and rankings tiers to dominate your 2025 drafts.

The NFL season is fast-approaching, and the heart of fantasy football draft season is upon us. Today we're back with our NFL team's updated 2025 fantasy football draft rankings for the top 415 players in 2025 redraft leagues. We'll look at some draft rankings risers and fallers including Chase Brown, De'Von Achane, Breece Hall, Bhayshul Tuten, Tyreek Hill, Tank Bigsby and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.

It will be critical to know which NFL players are emerging in the preseason, which ones are injury risks, which NFL rookies are ready to make an impact, and which players should be avoided due to their team environment. Will Tyreek Hill take a big step back this year and Jaylen Waddle will emerge as Miami's WR1? Will Breece Hall continue to be the featured RB1 for the Jets or is Braelon Allen poised to take over? Will the Lions and Bears have different offenses with different results due to coaching changes?

RotoBaller's lead fantasy football rankings analyst Nick Mariano has put together these updated 2025 draft rankings, which will be updated constantly until Week 1 kicks off, and will look to answer these questions. Be sure to follow all of the fantasy football injury news and bookmark our main fantasy football rankings portal with 14 different types of rankings for various leagues types and scoring settings. 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings Outlooks

Braelon Allen - RB, New York Jets

Braelon Allen was selected by the Jets during Round 4 of the 2024 NFL Draft. That infused Allen into a depth chart that also contained Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis, who was also a member of the 2024 rookie class. Allen finished fourth among all first-year backs in attempts (91/5.4 per game) and was fifth in rushing yards (334/19.6 per game), although he averaged 3.6 yards per attempt. Allen was also second on the Jets in red zone attempts (11), while accumulating 10 forced missed tackles and five explosive runs according to PFF.

Allen was also third among rookie backs in routes run (136) and targets (27/1.6 per game). However, Allen did not establish himself as the Jets' RB2 behind Hall, as Davis also emerged in New York's backfield rotation. Davis nearly matched Allen's snap share from Weeks 14-18 (28.0/27.4 percent). Both backs also carried 25 times during that sequence, and Davis easily led the tandem in yards per attempt (6.1/3.8).

Touches could be distributed to Hall, Allen, and Davis in a redesigned offense under offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, and Allen's unpredictable role in New York's reshaped attack prevents you from targeting him as a handcuff. It also restricts the expanded workload he would secure if Hall is forced to the sideline. That should encourage you to avoid selecting him before his current ADPs in best ball leagues (172/RB55) and dynasty startups (153/RB49).

Rome Odunze - WR, Chicago Bears

After being drafted ninth overall by the Chicago Bears in 2024, expectations were quite high for wide receiver Rome Odunze. With fellow rookie Caleb Williams throwing him the ball, Odunze was able to post decent numbers in his first season. He hauled in 54 catches for 734 yards and three scores over 17 games. Inconsistent play by Williams, exacerbated by a horrendous offensive line, was not the ideal position for a rookie receiver, as Odunze ranked 2nd in unrealized air yards (917) with an atrocious catchable target rate of 64%. Consistent volume was also hard to come by, with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen, and sometimes even Cole Kmet above Odunze in the pecking order.

Things are looking up for the second-year wideout with the Bears' moves this offseason. Allen became a free agent, and Chicago brought in offensive-minded Ben Johnson as the Bears' head coach. Johnson has already been very vocal about how impressed he is with the sophomore wideout. It's worth noting that the Bears just used their first two picks in the 2025 NFL draft to grab pass catchers. The Bears selected tight end Colston Loveland 10th overall and wide receiver Luther Burden III in the second round. However, that shouldn't detract too much from Odunze's opportunities this coming season. Burden III is primarily a slot receiver while Odunze aligns outside, and Loveland will share reps with Cole Kmet.

There are a lot of mouths to feed in this Chicago offense, but with what should be a drastically improved offensive line and another year to grow with Williams, Odunze is expected to take a big leap in his second season into the WR2 range as the clear No. 2 target in this offense. RotoBaller is on board with Odunze making the second-year leap and has the 23-year-old ranked as WR33 heading into upcoming fantasy drafts.

Ricky Pearsall - WR, San Francisco 49ers

Ricky Pearsall's rookie season didn't start how anyone envisioned. After a hamstring issue popped up in training camp, delaying his development, the 24-year-old was the victim of a shooting, taking a bullet to the chest in an altercation in August. He'd recover and eventually make his way to the field, but it took him a bit to get going. Even with former teammate Deebo Samuel Sr.'s down season and Brandon Aiyuk (knee) missing the remainder of the year with an ACL injury after Week 7, the Florida product took some time to find his footing at the NFL level.

However, he ended the campaign with a bang, compiling 14 receptions, 210 yards, and two touchdowns across the final two weeks (18 targets). It's a different story in 2025, as Samuel Sr. is gone – shipped to Washington – and Aiyuk is still recovering from his knee injury. That firmly places Pearsall in the conversation of one of San Fran's top three pass-catchers alongside fellow wideout Jauan Jennings and tight end George Kittle. A healthy Christian McCaffrey will get his fair share of opportunities as a receiver.

Still, the second-year pro should get work in two-wide sets as long as Aiyuk is sidelined, and potentially even after if he shows out early. Pearsall will have a chance to succeed this season and could exceed expectations in an efficient 49ers offense, which can only stand to be a boon for him. He ranks as RotoBaller's PPR WR4, and sits just inside the top 100 overall at No. 92.

Chuba Hubbard - RB, Carolina Panthers

Chuba Hubbard remains positioned to build upon the career-best results he delivered while flourishing as the Panthers' primary in 2024. Hubbard vaulted to eighth in rushing yards (1,195/79.7 per game) and 11th in attempts (250/16.7 per game) while generating 10 touchdowns and establishing career highs in each category. He also finished third in rush yards over expected (282) per Next Gen Stats, and seventh in explosive yards (337).

Hubbard also finished among the top five in carries (234/18.0 per game), rushing yards (1,117/85.9 per game), and yards after contact (696) from Weeks 3-16, while rising to eighth in points per game (17.6) during that span. Jonathon Brooks will be sidelined throughout the 2025 season as he recovers from his second torn ACL. However, the Panthers' depth chart has been bolstered by the addition of former Cowboy Rico Dowdle and the selection of Trevor Etienne during Round 4 of April's NFL Draft (114th overall).

Dowdle and Etienne should not threaten Hubbard's lead back role and will compete for touches as the Panthers' RB2. Hubbard should minimally supply fantasy managers with high-end RB2 production and could reach RB1 territory while functioning in an improving Carolina offense. That makes him a viable back to target at his Round 5 ADP in best ball drafts (49/RB19) and his Round 6 ADP in dynasty startups (71/RB21).
