ANALYSIS: With Josh Jacobs set to be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with a quad injury, Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White looks poised to lead this backfield once again, making him a strong fantasy option when these two sides square off.
Jacobs has missed the past three games for the Raiders and White has been stellar in his stead. In his three starts, White has averaged 19.7 attempts for 95 yards per game, as well as 2.7 receptions for 17 yards.
Last week against the Indianapolis Colts, White carried the ball 20 times for 71 yards. That game was also his high point of the season in terms of receiving game usage, as White was targeted six times, catching five passes for 35 yards. All three marks were career highs for the second-year back out of Georgia.
This week, White faces a Denver Broncos defense that's improved at points this year, but still has allowed the second-most rushing yards in the NFL. Barring a surprise return for Jacobs, White should be viewed as a fantasy RB1 play and a strong DFS option this weekend against Denver.
