Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 12 DFS Picks

Carson Palmer (at ATL, $29)

Palmer has had a fairly disappointing season thus far that has been bungled up by too many interceptions and the fact that he's run into some solid defenses of late. On Sunday he'll face an Atlanta defense that has allowed a staggering 283 passing yards per game this season. Not only is the Falcons secondary as easy as ABC-123, but they'll play in the weather controlled Georgia Dome. This bodes well, as there won't be any 40 MPH wind gusts that make you rethink the pick and change it at the last minute like I did with most of my Rodgers shares last week (d'oh!).

Cam Newton (at OAK, $33)

Although the Raiders have been solid this season their passing defense has been lackluster, as they've allowed opposing offenses to rack up 277.9 passing yards per week on average. This week they'll host Cam Newton and the Panthers, who are much worse on defense this season. Because of that I expect this game to be a fairly high scoring shootout and that Cam should pile up the fantasy points as a result. At just $33 Cam is a high upside/high floor play that can be used in cash games or GPP's. The fact that it's supposed to be 59* and sunny certainly doesn't hurt either.

Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 12 DFS Picks

Jay Ajayi (vs SF, $39)

Ajayi has already proven himself as an elite fantasy back as he's exploded onto the scene this season. On Sunday he faces a 49ers defense that has allowed 179.5 yards rushing per game at home in Miami where it's projected to be 76* at game time. This makes Ajayi my lock of the century, of the week. Join me and get him into all of your lineups.

Rashad Jennings (at CLE, $20)

Jennings has cracked double digit fantasy points in three of the past four weeks including an impressive 21.4 fantasy points against Chicago last week. This week he'll face a Browns team that has given up 143.9 rushing yards per game (the second most in the NFL behind the 49ers). Not only do I expect the Giants and Jennings to have a big day, but I expect that they will likely be up big and/or leading throughout, which should generate a good deal of touches for Jennings. At just $20 and against the lowly Browns Jennings is a high floor player that is safe to deploy in both cash games and GPP's.

Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 12 DFS Picks

Kelvin Benjamin (at OAK, $21)

Benjamin has been a mediocre fantasy player of late as he's put up a decent amount of points, but has been unable to find the end zone in the past six weeks. I think that changes this week as Newton and the Panthers have a big passing day in Oakland. In fact, I wouldn't be shy about stacking Cam, Kelvin and Greg Olsen in any format. At just $21 Benjamin is a solid play with a high ceiling and decent floor. I like him much more in GPP's but he can be used in cash games as well for my fellow believers.

JJ Nelson (at ATL, $12)

After two consecutive weeks where JJ posted a mere 1.90 and 0.50 points I'm sure there are some of you out there that probably think that I've lost it suggesting him here. Well, I haven't. Not only did Nelson receive 11 targets over the past two weeks, but he's also proven himself as a capable fantasy threat as he posted 29.30 points the week before that against the Carolina Panthers. While I would not use JJ in a cash game because of his low floor, I wouldn't shy away from him at all in a GPP format. In fact I kind of love his upside there and will likely have several shares as a result. If you're daring enough you should join me and sprinkle him in some of your lineups.

Yahoo! Tight End - Week 12 DFS Picks

Zach Ertz (vs GB, $15)

Ertz has been a solid option of late as he's averaged over 11 points over his last three weeks and now faces a Packers defense that has been starting the ghost of Julius Peppers and a couple of holograms at corner back. Not only do I love his floor, but Zach also has a rather high ceiling in this matchup. Because of that combo I like him in all formats and will likely continue to recommend any and all TE's that face the Packers and their pathetic excuse for a defense.

Yahoo! Defense - Week 12 DFS Picks

Tennessee Titans D/ST (at CHI, $15)

This week the Titans will travel to Chicago and face Matt Barkley and the Bears at Soldier Field. While the Titans haven't been good against the pass this season the fact that they'll face Barkley and a Alshon Jeffrey-less Bears squad bodes well for them. When you add in that they've been good against the run it makes them an interesting fantasy play. I expect Tennessee to get ahead and stay ahead, and for the most part, bottle up the Chicago run game. This will force Barkley to throw and that will likely lead to mistakes, turnovers and maybe even a Tennessee defensive touchdown.
