WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/25/19): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

We've got two games in the WNBA on Tuesday, as the Lynx visit the Fever and the Aces host the Storm. Indiana has been a major surprise this year, but they come up against a strong Lynx defense. Meanwhile, the Aces continue to improve after a lackluster start, led by one of the league's best bigs, Liz Cambage.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/25/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards

Odyssey Sims (G, Minnesota Lynx) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $8,300, FD: $6,900)

Sims has been playing some very consistent basketball lately. You know she's going to give you scoring the the mid-teens to low-20s, she's going to end up with around five assists, and she'll also grab a few boards. The one big variable for Sims is with her three-point shooting; she takes a good number of them per game, but she's struggled to connect on them, going 1-for-7 over the past two games. She's shooting 30 percent from three this year, an improvement over the last few seasons, but her increased volume suggests that Sims has figured some things out about her shooting. It's a good thing, then, that she faces the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, who've allowed opposing teams to shoot the third-highest three-point field goal percentage this season. This is the perfect chance for her to go 3-for-5 from deep and net her third 20-plus point performance of the year.

Lexie Brown (G, Minnesota Lynx) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $5,500, FD: $4,400)

Speaking of three-point shooting, Lexie Brown has attempted at least three shots from beyond the arc in every game this season. She struggled in her last outing, going 0-for-5 from deep, and she's 2-for-13 from deep over the past three games, but like with Sims, she's got a soft matchup against the Fever that should help her break out of her slump. She's had double-digit DraftKings and FanDuel points in all but two games this year, and this matchup is primed to be one where Brown plays an incredibly important role.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Natasha Howard (F, Seattle Storm) – @ Las Vegas Aces (DK: $10,800, FD: $8,500)

Honestly, I think I've reached the point where I'll just tell you to play Howard any time she's available, because she's been so solid this season. Howard is second in the league in scoring and fifth in rebounding. She's eighth in blocks per game. She's second to teammate Jordin Canada in steals per game, and has eight steals over the past three games. Vegas has been an improving team defensively, but they haven't improved to the level where I'd worry about Howard against them, and I'd rather play her as my high-priced forward-eligible player over either of the Vegas options.

Napheesa Collier (F, Minnesota Lynx) – @ Indiana Fever (DK: $7,500, FD: $6,400)

Collier's DraftKings price has risen as fast as her FanDuel price, so this is a good chance to take advantage of that against a lackluster Fever defense that's allowing the fifth-most points per game. Collier's been the league's best rookie, and she reminded everyone why on Saturday against the New York Liberty, putting up 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting to go with nine boards and four steals. After slowing down a little following her hot start, Collier seems to have righted the ship in her quest to be the Rookie of the Year.

Mercedes Russell (F, Seattle Storm) – @ Las Vegas Aces (DK: $6,100, FD: $5,600)

Worried I went too heavy on Minnesota players and want to diversify your lineup? Check out Russell, who's been an efficient scorer, even though she hasn't had a high volume of shot attempts. She contributes on the boards as well, and while Russell's numbers won't lead to a huge breakout performance, she has the ability the ability to give DFS players a solid option whose role and rebounding ability give her a decent floor.
