Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 15? Jauan Jennings, Deebo Samuel Sr., Patrick Taylor Jr.

Jauan Jennings - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Who should I start for Week 15? Fantasy football outlooks for Jauan Jennings, Deebo Samuel Sr., Patrick Taylor Jr. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Fantasy playoffs? How is it already Week 15 in the NFL? It feels like just yesterday we were prepping for our drafts, trying to identify top sleepers, and doing mock drafts to prepare for the 2024 season. But here we are, preparing fantasy managers for the playoffs.

In this article, we will deep-dive into the San Francisco 49ers offense, specifically the rise of Jauan Jennings, the downfall of Deebo Samuel Sr., and Patrick Taylor Jr. being a sneaky option for Week 15 and beyond.

I'll highlight recent statistics for these players, provide my recommendations for Week 15, and evaluate whether they should be in your starting lineups. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Sign Up Now!

Should I Start Jauan Jennings for Fantasy Football?

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers in 2024. His rapport with Brock Purdy has been off the charts this season.

The 27-year-old wideout continues to excel in a starting role for a San Francisco team that has lost several key players throughout the season. Jennings is having a breakout season with a career-best line of 57-774-6 through 11 contests.

Jennings has become Purdy's go-to target over fellow wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr., who we will discuss further below. Over the past three games with Purdy, Jennings has scored 13 or more points in three of his last four games.

Jennings is a must-start in Week 15 as the 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football in this pivotal divisional matchup.

RotoBaller rankings have Jennings ranked as WR14 for Week 15.

Should I Start Deebo Samuel Sr. for Fantasy Football?

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. has seen his production fall off a cliff over the last four weeks, failing to score more than five fantasy points during this span.

What is more concerning for Samuel is that his quarterback, Brock Purdy, has been more successful targeting George Kittle and Jauan Jennings in the passing game.

The silver lining for Deebo is that he is still averaging six opportunities per game, but fantasy managers are likely fed up with his production in 2024 and need to explore other avenues for Week 15.

I understand it can be tough to sit Deebo based on his production over the last handful of years, but in fantasy football, you have to consider "What have you done for me lately?"

RotoBaller rankings have Samuel ranked as our WR32 for Week 15.

Should I Start Patrick Taylor Jr. for Fantasy Football?

San Francisco 49ers running back Patrick Taylor Jr. is the fourth-stringer for the team. Based on the process of elimination, he may be in line to start Thursday night with Isaac Guerendo (foot) not taking part in practice on Monday and being listed as a non-participant on Tuesday.

The 49ers play the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football in a pivotal divisional matchup to keep their playoff hopes alive. If Guerendo does not play, Taylor becomes a top-20 running back in Week 15.

Christian McCaffrey (knee) is done for the year, while Jordan Mason (ankle) could also miss the rest of the season with a high ankle sprain, making Taylor a must-add in Week 15 and a reliable flex/RB3 option if Guerendo does play.

If Taylor takes over the backfield, he could become a league-winner for fantasy managers down the stretch, as the 49ers' starting running back position has consistently provided significant production over the years.

RotoBaller rankings have Taylor ranked as our RB27 for Week 15.
