Is Chosen Anderson a free agent? Which team could sign Anderson this offseason? Read the 2023 NFL free agency outlook.
Former New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Chosen Anderson hasn't been signed yet this offseason, but the speedster will likely find a place on an NFL roster.
Anderson's career has been up and down, but he can serve as a field-stretcher and shot-play weapon in the right offense. He was traded in the middle of the 2022 season and didn't produce much with his former team, so a fresh start could benefit the 29-year-old wideout.
How did Anderson play in 2022? Which teams could sign him this offseason? Let's dive into it.

Chosen Anderson 2022 Season Review
In six games with the Panthers, Anderson caught 13 of his 27 targets for 206 yards and one touchdown. His Week 1 touchdown against the Cleveland Browns brought optimism for his production with the newly acquired Baker Mayfield, but after posting five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in that contest, he went silent.
Near the trade deadline, Anderson got into a heated argument with a member of the Panthers' coaching staff -- and was traded to the Arizona Cardinals soon after. In 10 games with Arizona, he caught just seven of his 17 targets for 76 yards and zero touchdowns.
Needless to say, it was a quiet and disappointing campaign.
Which Teams Could Sign Chosen Anderson?
The Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Minnesota Vikings are among the teams that could use speed at the wide receiver position. Some of those teams have established No. 1 options, but bringing in a field-stretcher like Anderson could benefit the offense as a whole.
That said, it wouldn't be surprising if Anderson isn't signed until after the NFL draft. He's had a career of mediocre production so teams will likely only be interested in him if they fail to secure a wideout or two they want in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Ultimately, Anderson isn't a coveted asset at this point in his career and even if he does land on an NFL roster, there's a low chance he's a fantasy-viable player in 2023. Again, he adds an element of speed to an offensive attack, but he won't be a high-volume pass-catcher the next time he steps on the field.
