Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) will remain out on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars but is expected to rejoin the lineup later this week. On Monday, Nugent-Hopkins practiced for the first time since sustaining an undisclosed injury in a loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Nov. 9. He will miss a ninth consecutive game on Tuesday, but Nugent-Hopkins looks set to return to the lineup for Saturday's tilt against the Seattle Kraken. Nugent-Hopkins has averaged a point per game in 16 outings this season, posting five goals and 11 assists. Once he is cleared to play, Nugent-Hopkins will be in contention for a top-six role and a spot on the first power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk
