Top-5 MLB Pitching Prospects To Stash For Fantasy Baseball Redraft Leagues - Week 4 (2026)

Didier Fuentes - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Andy's top pitching fantasy baseball prospects to stash for Week 4 (2026). His MLB prospects to pick up and stash on your bench and N/A spots in redraft leagues.

Welcome back to our top starting pitcher fantasy baseball prospects to stash for Week 4 of the 2026 MLB season. This past week, we saw Chicago's Noah Schultz graduate from our stash list and make his MLB debut.

As a result, we will spotlight a new name on our list, taking Schultz's spot, including two pitchers who are both from the same minor league system.

Payton Tolle, Boston Red Sox

Currently At Triple-A

Remaining in our No. 1 spot is Payton Tolle of the Boston Red Sox. In his most recent outing, the hard-throwing southpaw impressed, tossing five shutout frames with just three hits and one walk against Triple-A Columbus. In this game, Tolle struck out six hitters.

This was his first shutout outing of the young season. He struggled in his first outing, allowing six runs (four earned) over four innings, but quickly bounced back in his second start, allowing just two runs (one earned) while striking out seven hitters over six frames.

While the Boston starting rotation is still full, Tolle continues to make a strong case to join the MLB roster, which makes him the top pitching prospect to stash. When looking at pure upside, especially in the strikeout department, Tolle stands alone on our list.

During the 2025 campaign, the TCU product made his professional debut (after being drafted in the 2024 MLB Draft) and wasted little time making a name for himself. The Red Sox had him begin his professional career with High-A Greenville, and he needed just 49 2/3 innings to earn the call to the upper minors.

With High-A, Tolle struck out an eye-catching 79 hitters while holding a 3.67 ERA. With Double-A, Tolle made six appearances (five starts) and posted a near-perfect 1.67 ERA with a 37:7 K:BB over a short 27-inning stint. This dominance then moved him to Triple-A Worcester, where Tolle needed just 15 innings to prove he was ready to join Boston for the stretch run.

In his first stint with Triple-A, Tolle racked up 19 punchouts over 15 innings while allowing seven runs (six earned). Unfortunately, he was unable to carry this momentum into his first MLB stint, as he allowed 11 earned runs with only 19 strikeouts over a 16 1/3-inning stint.

Currently, Connelly Early occupies the "final" spot in the rotation but has been very successful in his second MLB stint, logging 19 2/3 innings with a 2.29 ERA. However, Tolle could replace or serve as a No. 6 starter if Brayan Bello continues to stumble. Over his first 14 2/3 innings, Bello has surrendered 10 earned runs and posted a 9:9 K:BB.

Tolle will likely need to wait for an injury to earn the call, but his elite strikeout potential makes him worth holding ahead of his call-up. He is a top option to stash in all 12+ team leagues.

Didier Fuentes, Atlanta Braves

Currently At Triple-A

Sliding into the No. 2 spot is an Atlanta Braves pitcher who is knocking on the MLB doorstep. While his path to a call-up is clearer than Tolle's, the Boston left-hander possesses more raw upside, giving him the slight edge on our list.

Fuentes actually broke camp with the Braves but was kept in the bullpen as a long reliever before being sent to Triple-A to build up his workload. In his lone MLB appearance this season, Fuentes logged four innings with two hits, one earned run, and 4:1 K:BB against the Kansas City Royals.

However, since being optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett, Fuentes has not only impressed as a starter, but has seen his workload drastically improve, suggesting the Braves view him as a long-term starter. After logging a short 3 2/3 innings in his Triple-A debut, Fuentes has tossed at least six innings in back-to-back games.

On April 8, Fuentes logged six innings with only two hits and eight strikeouts against Nashville. In his most recent appearance, facing Triple-A Memphis, Fuentes allowed four runs, but was able to hit the seven-inning mark for the first time this season.

The 20-year-old had a short stint with the Braves as a starter in 2025 but struggled, holding a 13.85 ERA over his first four MLB games. However, given his steady progress at Triple-A and past minor-league production, the young right-hander was clearly overmatched in his debut.

With the Braves lacking major depth at the back-end of their rotation, Fuentes may only need one more start at Triple-A to prove he is ready to take on a full starter's workload. His raw skill has improved greatly, and he should look far more comfortable in his second opportunity as an MLB starter.

Robby Snelling, Miami Marlins

Currently At Triple-A

Even though Snelling has moved down the stash list, he has continued to enjoy elite production at Triple-A and remains on the verge of his MLB debut. In his most recent outing on April 10, the southpaw racked up 12 punchouts facing Triple-A Norfolk. In those things, Snelling allowed just two hits, and our walks over five shutout frames.

Overall, the Miami left-hander has looked quite sharp through his first three games, logging 13 innings to the tune of a 2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 22:8 K:BB. Snelling was given an opportunity to win a starting job in spring training, but fell short in the competition as Max Meyer was fully healthy, and Chris Paddack was given the nod for the final starting job.

Snelling has looked more than comfortable since making his Triple-A debut during the second half of the 2025 campaign and has proven he is more than ready to join Miami. During his first stint at Triple-A (63 2/3 innings), the left-hander posted a 1.27 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, with an 81:17 K:BB. The southpaw opened the 2025 campaign with Double-A and enjoyed far less success, posting a 3.61 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP over 72 1/3 frames.

The current No. 5 starter, Janson Junk, is coming off the worst outing of his young season as he surrendered five runs (four earned) against the Tigers on April 11. Paddack has not fared much better, carrying a 5.59 ERA over his first four appearances (19 1/3 innings).

While his path to the majors remains clear, Snelling may have to wait for no injury as the Marlins appear to be in favor of keeping him in the minor leagues for the time being.

JR Ritchie, Atlanta Braves

Currently At Triple-A

The other Atlanta Brave worth monitoring is JR Ritchie. While Fuentes is the higher-priority name to stash, Ritchie is very close to making his MLB debut and could almost earn a promotion simply as Fuentes is recalled.

At Triple-A this season, Ritchie has been near-perfect and playing some of the best baseball of his career. Across four starts, the right-hander has logged 21 1/3 innings to the tune of a 1.27 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 20:10 K:BB. Since allowing a season-high two runs in his season debut on March 27, Fuentes has gone on to log 17 2/3 straight innings of one-run ball.

While Ritchie has allowed a modest 3.6 BB/9 during this stretch, he has been able to limit the damage and strike out 17 hitters.

Last season, Ritchie spent time at High-A, Double-A, and Triple-A and logged a cumulative 140 innings to the tune of a 2.64 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP. During his first look at Triple-A (59 2/3 innings), Ritchie held a 3.02 ERA with a 1.097 WHIP.

Seeing the 22-year-old show steady development in his second extended look at the level is a very promising sign.

However, while he likely remains behind Fuentes in the peaking order to earn the call, he is still worth stashing in 12+ team leagues. Currently, the Braves lack much stability in the back-end of their rotation, and even after Fuentes was to earn the call, Ritchie could sit in a path. Earlier on Friday, the Braves recalled 35-year-old Martin Perez to the MLB roster, who has held a 4.33 ERA from 2023 through 2025.

Once Fuentes earns the call, Ritchie will enter the top tier of pitching prospects to stash, as he would be next in line for a promotion in an injury-riddled Atlanta rotation.

Jonah Tong, New York Mets

Currently At Triple-A

Rounding out our list will be New York's Jonah Tong. Like Ritchie, Tong's current path to rejoin the majors is not overly clear, but he would enter the high-end prospect stash range if a New York starter were to miss time with an injury. Currently, the New York rotation is full as all five starters are fully healthy, but given Kodai Senga's previous health concerns and Clay Holmes' minimal track record as a full-time starter, Tong could be in the mix to run much sooner than expected.

Tong was enjoying a strong start to the Triple-A regular season, but hit a bit of a roadblock this past week. Facing Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Tong struck out 10 hitters over 4 2/3 innings, but managed to allow a season-worst six runs and five hits. However, prior to this outing, Tong struck out 13 hitters over his first 10 2/3 innings while allowing six earned runs.

Last season, prior to his MLB debut, Tong was regarded as one of the game's top pitching prospects in the minor leagues. He began the 2025 regular season with Double-A and was nothing short of elite, holding a 1.59 ERA and 1.02 WHIP, with a 162:44 K:BB over 102 innings. Tong was then bumped up to Syracuse, where he needed only two starts (11 2/3 innings) before going to the Mets. In this brief stint, Tong did not allow a run and struck out another 17 hitters.

In the majors, Tong struggled, allowing 16 earned runs over 18 2/3 innings. While he has shown immense upside at times, Tong still needs further development, as evidenced in his most recent outing.

He should be well-equipped to make a major impact in his second MLB stint later this summer. However, given his unclear timetable, he sits as the clear No. 5 on this list and a worthy stash in deeper formats.
