Thunder Dan's NFL Betting Picks for Week 12: Spreads, Totals, Parlays, and Teasers

Kenneth Walker III - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan Palyo's top NFL betting picks and best bets for Week 12 of the 2022 season. His favorite NFL betting picks for player spreads, money lines, parlays, teasers, and game totals.

With 12 NFL games on the schedule today, we have no shortage of games to target for wagers and bets! I usually have this out by Friday or Saturday, but it's been a wild week and there's still plenty of time this morning to get your bets in on today's games.

Whether you like to bet game totals, sides, or player props, I have something in here for you, and try to cover a little bit of everything! This year, I started my own free sports betting newsletter, and the good people here at RotoBaller are allowing me to share my picks and data with you here in this space! You can access the free substack here and sign up for daily emails in addition to viewing the picks daily here on the RotoBaller website.

In this article, I'll be providing my favorite NFL betting picks for Week 12 of the 2022 NFL season. The odds on these bets vary from book to book and are constantly changing. I primarily use FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks, but I would strongly encourage you to shop for the best odds at whatever books you use daily.

Thunder Dan's Best Bets: 2022 NFL Season

  • Last Week: 2-2
  • Season ATS: 18-17
  • Season O/U: 8-16
  • Season Overall: 26-33

NFL Betting Picks: Spreads/MoneyLine

TEN ML (-105 DK)

Both teams have been good ATS this season with Tennessee going 8-2 and Cincy being 7-3. Tennessee being underdogs at home is a tad curious to me, however, especially considering that the Bengals will not have Joe Mixon or Ja'Marr Chase in this game.

I think Tennessee wins here in a close one. They have continued to improve their defense throughout the season and they are a pretty solid offense with Tannehill under center. Treylon Burks is emerging and Derrick Henry is unrelenting. The Titans prevail here at home in this one.

JAX +3.5 (-110 DK)

The Jags are home dogs this week against the Ravens and while I can’t say definitively that they are a better team than Baltimore, I certainly don’t think Baltimore has done anything to show us that they are a full touchdown better than the Jags (remember that the home team usually get about three points from Vegas).

I have Baltimore favored by basically a point. I think it’s a coin-flip game that the Jags could actually win. Getting the extra half-point hook here is nice, so I am landing on the Jacksonville side and hoping they can keep it within a field goal if they aren’t able to pull off the upset.

SEA -4 (-110 DK)

One of these teams is a good football team in this game and it’s not Las Vegas. I have Seattle here by a full touchdown based on their now fairly large sample of being good on offense and respectable on defense. The Raiders will score some points, but I don’t see them stopping Geno + company here and I like Seattle to cover at home.

PHI -6.5 (-110 DK)

The Eagles lost two weeks ago and flirted with a loss last week before coming back in the final minutes to win. I think they’re getting these games out of their system now and getting ready for a big run here to finish the season. The loss of Goedert hurts but Hurts still has plenty of weapons and this offensive line should dominate Green Bay up front.

The Packers continue to trend down and their season is basically over at this point. The Eagles will be up for this one at home and in primetime. This line was at -7 on some books but I grabbed it at 6.5 this morning. Betting it at 7 is fine, too, I have them projected to win by 10+ here.

NFL Betting Picks: Totals

TB-CLE OVER 42 (-110 DK)

It’s two extremes meeting here as Cleveland is 7-2 on the over, but Tampa is 8-2 on the under. I think we know that Tampa will be able to score on this Cleveland defense, but can the Browns score enough for this game total to get over?

I think so. Jacoby Brissett is playing his final game as the starter and has played better than the Browns could probably have hoped to be honest. He moved this offense up and down the field against Buffalo and Tampa’s pass defense isn’t all that good, even if they are likely to shut down the run game. I think the Bucs win, but the Browns score enough points late for this one to go over.

NFL Betting Picks: Teasers and Parlays

You know the rules here, more teams = more risk. Never hesitate to leave a team out of a parlay that you don’t feel good about.

5-TEAM ML FAVORITES PARLAY: PHI/SF/KC/NYJ/MIA (+167 DK)

3-TEAM 6.5-POINT UNDERDOG TEASER: TEN/JAX/DEN (+150 DK)

That takes the spreads to TEN +7.5, JAX +10, and DEN +7.5!

I hope you find my data and picks helpful and profitable! Thanks for checking out my picks and content here at RotoBaller!
