Ray Davis is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add As Handcuff
ROSTERED IN: 30% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis had another pedestrian outing in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks. He totaled just 29 yards on six carries, though he did show decent efficiency. He's a handcuff to lead back James Cook, and most fantasy managers of Cook should have the rookie on their roster as well.

If the lead back goes down, the freshman back is an immediate low-end RB2 with upside for more in this offense. He has a great offensive line blocking in front of him, excellent tackle-avoiding ability, good speed, and highly underrated skills as a receiver, which gives him even more upside in PPR leagues.
You should take advantage of having a guaranteed starter like Davis for your fantasy rosters if your current starter has an injury. Davis doesn't have much standalone value, unfortunately, but that's the nature of many NFL backfields. The former Kentucky star could score very well in the future if he gets more chances.

Every fantasy manager on the planet absolutely loves the tight end position. Well, not really. It would be nice if teams would throw to their tight ends more, but that might not happen any time soon. Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups - Zach Ertz, Juwan Johnson, Harold Fannin Fantasy Football Outlooks
The tight end position is often one of misery for fantasy managers. Still, having one of the better […]
