Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty has endured a tough opening stretch, facing three consecutive top-10 run defenses while dealing with offensive line issues. Despite the slow start, Week 4 sets up as his most favorable matchup yet against a Chicago Bears defense ranked 26th against the run.
Chicago has consistently struggled to contain opposing backfields, giving Jeanty a prime opportunity to showcase his explosiveness. With the Raiders likely to lean on the ground game to control the tempo, Jeanty profiles as a strong RB2 option who could deliver his first breakout fantasy performance of the season.
Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton is primed for a heavy workload following the season-ending injury to Najee Harris (Achilles). In the team's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, Hampton recorded 19 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, along with six catches for 59 yards, demonstrating his value in both the running and passing game.
The 0-3 New York Giants are an ideal matchup, ranking in the bottom third in every defensive category and allowing the second-most rushing yards in the league. Although the absence of guard Mekhi Becton (concussion) could create some vulnerability, Hampton's expected workhorse role and favorable opponent position him for a strong performance. RotoBaller projects Hampton as RB10 this week and considers him a must-start across all formats.
JK Dobbins, RB, Broncos
Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has been a "real good addition" for the team this year, head coach Sean Payton said. Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports writes that it's "clear" that Payton is a big fan of Dobbins, who has been the Broncos' clear RB1 through three weeks over rookie second-rounder RJ Harvey. Dobbins has seen double-digit carries in all three games of the year so far and has run for at least 63 yards each week. The 26-year-old has also scored on the ground in all three weeks.
His best game so far came in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, as he ran for 83 yards and a score on a season-low 11 rushing attempts. He had nine more rushing attempts than Harvey last weekend and has outcarried the UCF product 41 to 13. Harvey has one more catch than Dobbins through three weeks. Dobbins isn't going away anytime soon, and he'll be in play as an RB2 in Week 4 in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts
Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor carried the ball 17 times for 102 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns during Sunday's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans. He also caught three of his four targets for an additional 16 yards through the air.
Taylor has been one of the NFL's most effective running backs this season, and now, he has turned in one of the most impressive single-game performances of the 2025 campaign. His efficiency, workload, and nose for the end zone make him a high-end RB1 option heading into Week 4 against the Rams.
