Oilers Bring in Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach From Chicago
The Edmonton Oilers picked up forwards Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks. In the transaction, the Oilers parted with forward Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional 2027 first-round draft pick. Chicago will retain 50 percent of Dickinson's $4.25 million cap hit. This is the second deal of the week between the two teams after the Oilers brought in defenseman Connor Murphy from Chicago on Monday. With the deal, Edmonton adds depth up front, with Dickinson being the bigger acquisition. The 30-year-old managed 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 47 appearances with the Blackhawks this season. Dach had nine points (three goals, six assists) in 53 games.
