Zay Jones Puts Up 59 Yards In Loss
12 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones hauled in five passes on eight targets for 59 yards in a SNF loss to the Ravens. Jones was second on the team in targets only behind Calvin Ridley, but unfortunately could not hit on any of the deep shots from quarterback Trevor Lawrence for the second week in a row. The Baltimore defense was lights out across the board with Jamaal Agnew's long TD reception on blown coverage being the exception. Lawrence also threw the ball 43 times - his second highest on the season. This will likely continue given the Jaguars struggles on the ground, which bodes well for Jones moving forward. Up next is a juicy matchup vs. the Bucs struggling secondary.
