Yu Darvish Or Kyle Hendricks Will Start Opening Day
5 years agoChicago Cubs manager David Ross said that the Opening Day start will come down to starting pitchers Yu Darvish and Kyle Hendricks. That will come on the road on Thursday, March 26, against the Brewers. Darvish is more of a volatile fantasy selection because of his injury history, but he also offers more strikeout upside than Hendricks and is going at an ADP of 68 compared to that of 142 for Hendricks. The Japanese right-hander finished the 2019 season on a really high note, giving those who draft him some optimism that he can bring that into 2020. Hendricks had a very decent 3.46 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 150 K's in 177 innings across 30 starts last season.
