1 year agoNew York Jets wide receiver Xavier Gipson turned 10 targets into seven receptions for 79 yards in the team's preseason victory over the New York Giants. The undrafted rookie had been impressive throughout the preseason on special teams but showcased his abilities as an offensive weapon on Saturday night. Gipson even earned a post-game shout-out from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who stated that the 22-year-old "took a big step forward" in his efforts to make the Jets' final roster. Gipson should have a great shot to do so with Corey Davis retiring earlier this week, but he's unlikely to make an impact for fantasy purposes this season.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
