Willy Adames Homers In Win Monday
Willy Adames drove in the lone run of the game on Monday, as he finished 1-for-3 with a home run in the 1-0 win over the Rangers. Adames has continued to struggle with strikeouts this year, striking out at least once in seven straight games now with a 31.4 percent strikeout rate this season. But despite the high strikeouts, Adames is still putting up numbers close to his career averages, as he's slashing .242/.286/.515 with two home runs and four RBI in 10 games. At this rate he is looking like he could post similar number or even possibly surpass his breakout 2019 campaign where he hit 20 home runs with a .254 average and .735 OPS.
