St. Louis Blues right-winger Vladimir Tarasenko will be out of action for at least the next five months after electing to undergo shoulder surgery on October 29th. The 27-year-old suffered a shoulder injury in the first period of Thursday's contest versus the Los Angeles Kings and had missed the Blues' last two games. The news comes a huge blow for fantasy owners that are now left scrambling to replace one of the game's highest producing right-wingers. Tarasenko had posted 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in his first 10 contests and looked prime to eclipse the 30-goal mark for the sixth straight season. Expect fellow Blues forward Robert Thomas to see an increase in minutes as a result of Tarasenko's injury.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
