Tyler Huntley Trending Toward Starting In Week 17
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley is trending toward starting in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams. Lamar Jackson (ankle) missed his second straight day of practice on Friday after he was seen limping badly during a limited practice on Wednesday. Huntley returned from the COVID-19 list on Thursday and looks to be in line to make his third start of the season against Los Angeles. The 23-year-old hasn't been bad in relief of Jackson this year, but he'll be facing a solid Rams defense and could be without top wideout Marquise Brown (illness), who has also missed the last two days of practice due to illness. Huntley will merely be a low-end QB2 with limited upside if he gets the nod on Sunday.
