On Saturday morning, Ty Gibbs qualified ninth for Sunday's 4EVER 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. While there is little doubt that Gibbs is on the verge of being one of the top stars in this sport, he has surprisingly struggled as of late. With finishes of P33 or worse in three of his last four races, the 21-year-old finds himself in a slump, which is uncharacteristic of the 2022 Xfinity series champion. Considering he struggled last season in his first Cup start at this track, I do not see the slump ending this weekend at Homestead. Although I fully expect the No. 54 to finish out this season on a strong note, I think we will have to wait until next week at Martinsville for this rebound to start.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
