Ty Gibbs looks to both win NASCAR's In-Season Challenge against Ty Dillon today and make up ground in the playoff race as he sits only 52 points behind Bubba Wallace for the last playoff spot. The first mission should be easier as Gibbs is much more talented than Dillon, not to mention the fact that Gibbs has beaten Dillon in the last six non-drafting races and also that he is starting 5th while Dillon is starting 26th. Gibbs will almost certainly outrun Dillon so the No. 54 team is likely going to put emphasis on avoiding trouble rather than winning. Given that, it's unlikely that even with Toyota's apparent speed advantage today that he will lead enough to make him a top DFS choice. Given his traditional inconsistency, starting him for DFS when he is starting fifth is a massive risk, but admittedly the tournament seems like almost a fait accompli.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
