Twins Could Sell Off Starting Pitchers
6 years agoThe Minnesota Twins could decide to be sellers at the trade deadline and could move starting pitchers Lance Lynn, Jake Odorizzi, Ervin Santana or Kyle Gibson. Lynn is a free agent after this year and Santana has a $14 million option for the 2019 season but has yet to pitch this year. They are said to be open to dealing Odorizzi or Gibson, who are both free agents after 2019. Gibson would be the most intriguing to contenders, as he is having a career year with a 3.42 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and career-best 8.9 K/9.
