C.J. Stroud Not at Practice, Set for Another Missed Game?
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and did not take part in practice on Wednesday, according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. Stroud is still experiencing concussion symptoms after sitting out the Week 10 comeback win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, which does not bode well for his status for this Sunday's divisional tilt against the Tennessee Titans. Backup Davis Mills did not look very good leading Houston's offense in Stroud's place for three quarters last Sunday, but then he miraculously led the team to an improbable comeback in the fourth quarter, finishing 27-for-45 passing for 292 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Mills' spirited effort could convince them to play it safe with Stroud going forward, especially in a very winnable game against Tennessee. As of right now, it's looking like fantasy managers will be without Stroud again this weekend.
