Tua Tagovailoa Won't Play In Week 6
2 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) will not play in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. McDaniel said the team is excited to have Tagovailoa back on the practice field on Wednesday. While fantasy managers still won't have Tagovailoa this weekend, it's good news that he's scheduled to throw this week while he progresses through the league's updated concussion protocol. With Teddy Bridgewater also dealing with a concussion, it's looking like rookie third-stringer Skylar Thompson will make his first NFL start this Sunday against the Vikings. As a result, fantasy managers should downgrade all of Miami's offensive skill players. It remains to be seen if Tagovailoa will have a shot at returning in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
