Trevor Story Floats Homer To Right Field
5 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is usually known for his massive blasts and no-doubters, but his 16th home run of the season looked more like a mistake. Facing Padres starter Matt Strahm with a runner on in the second, Story lofted a 1-1 pitch to right field that just would not stop carrying. The ball ended up clearing the wall with plenty of room to spare, just to further attest to how strong Story is. It was Story's first home run in two weeks, so hopefully it's the start of another hot streak. Either way, owners can't be upset at Story's production so far, as he's been a top-ten fantasy player to this point.
