Travis Homer Makes Massive Special Teams Impact
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer may not see any carries on a regular basis, but he got his chance to shine under the bright lights of Monday night. Homer was the up man for a punt from his own 32-yard line early in the fourth quarter, but he was the key to the trick. Homer took a direct snap from the long snapper and darted past the right end of the line for nearly 30 yards to keep the drive alive. He would then find himself on the bottom of the pile to end the game when he recovered a fumbled kickoff return by Minnesota in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter. The Seahawks Defense didn't play their cleanest game of the season, but big plays by a couple guys like Homer helped seal the win.
