Travis Etienne Jr. Has Been More Involved Lately
2 years agoIn Weeks 2 and 3, Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson played 89 offensive snaps to Travis Etienne Jr.'s 59. However, in Weeks 4 and 5 that script has been flipped, with Etienne playing 64 offensive snaps to Robinson's 52. In the Week 5 loss to the Houston Texans, Etienne had 10 carries for 71 yards and caught three of five targets for 43 yards. Robinson also had 10 carries but went for just 27 yards, and he caught both of his targets for just 12 yards. Robinson is likely to remain the team's goal-line back, but Etienne, who has been a disappointment so far, could be gaining ground on Robinson based on recent usage. Both players will be more of RB3/flex options for fantasy managers in a tough matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.
