Tony Gonsolin To Miss A Few Weeks
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin's (ankle) time on the injured list will linger "a few weeks" into the regular season, according to manager Dave Roberts. With Gonsolin injured to begin the 2023 regular season, it will be either Ryan Pepiot or Michael Grove for the last rotation spot, and Roberts said "it's close" between the two pitchers. The 28-year-old Gonsolin will be on the shelf for a few weeks in April due to a sprained ankle he suffered in camp, but he could make his season debut before the end of April. He was in contention for the National League Cy Young award in 2022 before getting injured down the stretch. Gonsolin will once again be a key contributor in LA's rotation this year, but fantasy managers should expect some regression.
