1 year agoThe Athletic's Jon Krawczynski has reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves "received a ton of interest" in Jaden McDaniels during this week's draft. Teams all over the draft board were calling and inquiring about his availability. However, the Timberwolves weren't interested in making any deals involving the 22-year-old, and according to Krawczynski, the team sees McDaniels as a "huge piece of the team's long-term future." McDaniels had a breakout year in 2022-23 and is set to get even better. He has proven himself as a versatile defender and averaged 12.1 points and 3.9 rebounds last season with nearly 40 percent shooting from downtown.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
