Tommy Fleetwood never really got the putter going at the US Open and it cost him a good finish. He did play the weekend and wound up 50th at +8. However, a bunch of missed putts hurt what was a pretty good ball-striking weekend. Fleetwood must putt better and maybe being close to home will reinvigorate his putting stroke and golf game. His total strokes gained putting ranks 122nd on tour (and is probably worse overall). Furthermore, his greens-in-regulation dropped out of the top-150. His abilities during the pandemic have trended downward as Fleetwood needs to drop a few putts early to give him something to believe in.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
