The Tennessee Titans and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons have had talks about a long-term deal. Simmons is currently scheduled to play the 2023 season on his fifth-year option at $10.753 million, but he has outplayed that. He recorded 7.5 sacks and 27 pressures from the interior last year and has been a Pro Bowler in back-to-back seasons. On top of it, the 25-year-old pass-rusher battled through an ankle injury in 15 starts in 2022. In the last two years with Tennessee, Simmons has 67 solo tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 30 QB hits, 16 sacks, 13 passes defensed and a forced fumble in 32 games started.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
