Tim Patrick Scores Another Touchdown In Week 4 Win
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick led the team in catches (six), targets (seven) and receiving yards (113) while scoring his second touchdown in as many weeks in the 37-28 win over the Jets on Thursday night. Patrick was clearly quarterback Brett Rypien's favorite target in the passing game in this one, but it also came against one of the worst teams in football. There's no question that the 26-year-old will see more opportunities in the passing attack with Courtland Sutton (knee) out for the season, but he'll typically be the third option behind rookie Jerry Jeudy and tight end Noah Fant. Keep in mind that Fant left this game in the third quarter with an ankle injury. Patrick is worth adding in deeper leagues, but it'll be interesting to see if he keeps seeing consistent looks once quarterback Drew Lock (shoulder) returns from his injury.
