Tim Patrick Has Pedestrian Day In Loss To Baltimore
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick only caught three of six targets for 39 yards in the 23-7 Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Patrick was predictably third in the pecking order behind tight end Noah Fant and receiver Courtland Sutton. The Broncos offense was forced to pass in the second half trailing by multiple scores, but it didn't matter much. Quarterback Drew Lock replaced the injured Teddy Bridgewater (head) after halftime and was out of sync with his receivers and looked indecisive with the football. Patrick will continue to see more chances until Jerry Jeudy returns from a high ankle sprain, but he'll be a pretty shaky touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in deeper leagues if Lock is forced into a start in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
