Thomas Harrington Performing Well Through First Look At Double-A
6 months agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitching prospect Thomas Harrington has looked comfortable through his first taste of Double-A ball. After having his start to the season delayed due to a right rotator cuff strain, the 22-year-old has held a 3.13 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a near-perfect 2:33 BB:K ratio. The 2022 draft pick spent the majority of last year's campaign with High-A Greensboro and posted a 3.87 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 29:106 BB:K ratio. MLB Pipeline ranks the young right-hander as the number five prospect in the Steel City and projects him to reach the majors next season. Harrington is worth monitoring in dynasty leagues and could become an interesting stash candidate if he continues to showcase his excellent command.
