Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko was in a familiar position on Saturday night as he faced 44 shots. The result was a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Demko was done in by a Pittsburgh team who dominated scoring chances in the first 20 minutes. That set the tone on what became a long night when Pittsburgh's power-play awakened. Vancouver's league-worst penalty kill (under 65 percent) yielded two goals which blew open a 1-1 tie. Demko dropped to 8-11-1 on the season as his two game winning streak was abruptly snapped. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
