Thairo Estrada Out With Hand Contusion
Thairo Estrada (hand) is out of Wednesday's starting lineup against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park due to a right-hand contusion that he suffered in Tuesday's contest after being hit by a pitch. Estrada hit his first home run with the team on Tuesday but was pulled from the game in the eighth inning. The good news is that X-rays came back negative, and he's being considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers will want to check back to see if Estrada is available to return for Thursday's series finale in D.C. Kyle Farmer is making the start at the keystone on Wednesday and will hit second against Nationals left-hander Mitchell Parker. Estrada missed the start of the year after fracturing his right wrist on a hit-by-pitch in spring training. Since making his season debut, he's gone 19-for-66 (.288) with a homer, eight RBI and six runs.
