Terry McLaurin Happy With Dwayne Haskins' Progress
5 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Terry McLaurin said quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. "looks really good" and is happy with how far Haskins has come since last season. McLaurin had a solid rookie season himself, catching 58 passes for 919 yards and seven touchdowns despite inconsistent play from the QB position. McLaurin added that he thinks the Redskins will throw the ball downfield more in Haskins' second season, a good sign for the speedy McLaurin, who ranked ninth in the NFL with 12.1 yards before catch last year. McLaurin is being drafted as the 26th receiver but has the skills to finish much higher, especially in non-PPR leagues, if he can get better QB play from Haskins.
