Teddy Bridgewater Expected To Start Thursday Night
Teddy Bridgewater (foot) is expected to start Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns, according to head coach Vic Fangio. Bridgewater took nine sacks in Week 6 coming off of a concussion, so he heads into Week 7 banged-up regardless if he is active or not. The 28-year-old threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns against the Raiders but turned the ball over four times to offset strong production through the air. A matchup against an injury-riddled Cleveland defense on the road could give him some upside, but Bridgewater is still best-valued as a QB2 for fantasy managers. If he is a surprise inactive, Drew Lock would take over as the starter, which would give a slight downgrade to all the pass-catchers in the Denver offense.
