Taylor Hall Doubtful For Season Opener
2 years agoBoston Bruins left wing Taylor Hall sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's 4-0 win over Philadelphia and the team has listed him week-to-week, which puts his status for the season opener up in the air. Hall exited Saturday's tilt after two periods and the injury was first considered a minor one. The team starts the new campaign on Oct. 12 against Washington, so the former MVP has around 10 days to recover. Hall was a marquee signing during the 2021 trade deadline, but his Bruins career has yet to take off properly. The 30-year-old bagged 20 goals with 61 points in 81 appearances last season. Boston will be desperate to get Hall healthy for the start of the season, as Brad Marchand (hip) won't be available until at least late November.
