Steven Brault Could Become Two-Way Player
5 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Steven Brault could become a two-way player next season. The Cincinnati Reds have been having success using reliever Michael Lorenzen as a pitcher and outfielder. Brault has a .341 batting average through 49 plate appearances this season. He has a 5.16 ERA through 25 games (19 starts) with the Pirates this season. He probably won't be reliable enough for most fantasy leagues, but he could have some value as a two-way player.
