Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney Miss Practice
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kadarius Toney (oblique, quadriceps) both missed practice on Wednesday. Shepard hasn't played since Week 8. He's been productive when on the field in five games, but it's unrealistic to expect him to have a big workload if he's able to get back on the practice field later this week and play in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins. Toney has looked electric with the ball in his hands in his rookie season, but he missed last week due to injury, and both Shepard and Toney might be taking passes from backup quarterback Mike Glennon if they are active this weekend, which further lowers their fantasy appeal this weekend. Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton will be New York's top-two pass-catchers if Shepard and Toney continue to miss time.
