Stefon Diggs Was Unstoppable Last Season
4 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs led the league in receiving yards (1,535) last year in his first season with the team. Diggs' 166 targets produced a league-high 127 receptions, and he was the only receiver to catch passes at a rate that was 11.7 percent higher than expectation. He had the most receiving yards (685) on play-action targets in the league and also caught 50 passes for 490 yards on hitch routes, which were the most catches and yards by any player on any route in 2020, according to Next Gen Stats. Diggs caught 93 passes for 1,173 yards and five TDs on 120 targets when aligned out wide, the second-most catches and yards in the league. The 27-year-old has helped QBs record a 97.4 passer rating when targeted in tight windows since 2016, the second-highest rating among all wideouts. Simply put, Diggs is really good, and having quarterback Josh Allen throwing him passes has made him an elite fantasy pass-catcher.
