Shea Langeliers Powers A's Past Yankees With Five RBI
Shea Langeliers went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 11-7 win over the New York Yankees. The Portland, Oregon, native singled twice and doubled in the contest to record his second four-hit performance of the season. With the A's trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Langeliers stepped up to the plate and launched a Fernando Cruz splitter 418 feet to dead-center field to regain the lead. Then, in the eighth, he doubled in two more runs (108 MPH exit velocity) to bring his season total to 22. The 27-year-old is up to eight dingers on the season now, to go along with a .248 average (32-for-129), five doubles, and 17 runs scored. Langeliers has drastically cut his strikeout rate in 2025 (15.2%) with only a slight dip in average exit velocity. However, he's registered the hardest-hit ball of his career in the early going (114.5 MPH).
