Baltimore Orioles catching prospect Samuel Basallo went 1-for-4 with a home run during their contest on Sunday against Triple-A Lehigh Valley. This outing snapped Basallo's seven-game power slump. During this skid, the top catching prospect in the sport went 2-for-22 at the plate with just one extra-base hit (a double). Before this stretch, Basallo was holding a stellar .333/.440/.857 line slash line with four doubles, six home runs, and a 12:8 K:BB. Through 35 games at Triple-A this season, the No. 16-ranked prospect in the sport has continued to flash high power upside, holding a stellar .891 OPS with a .543 SLG. Fantasy managers should continue to view Basallo as a top hitting prospect to stash as he is nearing his MLB debut.
