Vancouver Canucks forward Sam Gagner was one of many players feeling under the weather on Thursday and multiple players were scratched for the meeting with Edmonton, but he was on the ice and ended up getting his 10th goal of the season. Gagner struggled to cope with Connor McDavid when the Oilers captain opened the scoring in the middle of the first frame, but the 10-year veteran found a perfect way to respond, as the Sedin brothers helped him score in the second. Gagner has found a new lease of life near the end of the season, as he's picked up six points from the last seven games, scoring in three of the last four.
