Salvon Ahmed A Healthy Scratch Against Jets
3 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed is a healthy scratch for the Week 11 game against the New York Jets. It means that Patrick Laird and Duke Johnson, who was brought up to the active roster on Saturday, will be the primary backups behind Myles Gaskin this weekend. Ahmed had only two carries for six yards and caught his lone target for nine yards in last week's surprising win over the Baltimore Ravens, and the 22-year-old continues to fall further behind Gaskin with this healthy scratch. Neither Laird nor Johnson will have any real standalone value behind Gaskin despite the excellent matchup against a defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to RBs in 2021. Gaskin is a strong RB2 play this weekend.
