The New Orleans Saints converted cornerback Marshon Lattimore's $10.2 million fifth-year option to a $990,000 base salary and the rest in a roster bonus with voidable years on Tuesday in order to create more salary cap room for the 2021 season. The two sides will also continue to work on a contract extension. The 11th overall pick out of Ohio State in 2017, Lattimore has been a Pro Bowler in three of his first four NFL seasons. He finished last year with 62 tackles (52 solo), two interceptions and 11 passes defensed in 14 games started. While the 25-year-old isn't quite a must-have in IDP leagues, he's an excellent cornerback that makes New Orleans secondary that much better.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
